What is OpenVPN and why should I use it?
OpenVPN is a widely used VPN protocol that uses strong TLS-based encryption and is supported across many platforms. UserGuard uses OpenVPN to provide secure connectivity and broad client compatibility.
How many devices can I connect simultaneously?
The number of simultaneous connections depends on your subscription plan. Our basic plan allows for 1 device, while our premium plans allow for up to 5 devices. You can manage your active devices from your dashboard.
How do I set up the VPN on my device?
Setting up UserGuard is easy! Install OpenVPN Connect for your operating system, then download your .ovpn configuration file from your UserGuard dashboard and import it into the OpenVPN app.
Does UserGuard keep any logs of my activity?
No. We have a strict no-logs policy. We do not track, collect, or store any information about your online activity, including your browsing history, traffic destination, data content, or DNS queries.
What should I do if my VPN connection is slow?
If you're experiencing slow speeds, try connecting to a different server location or checking your local internet connection. Slow speeds are usually related to network congestion between your ISP and our server.
